lots of cuteness...

I promise- we are still alive and well... just a little busy! Things are going great here in Kentucky... Nate is still in summer school.. only 4 weeks left! We're so proud of him and his hard work... Needless to say, I married a WONDERFUL guy:) The weather here has been humid and hot! Our flowers are growing and looking really great, and our bunnies are still bunnies! Hailey is getting so much personality on her! She loves to eat rice cereal (I don't give her too much of it... we'll work harder closer to a year...) and to cuddle with mommy! I don't know what Nate does, but he can ALWAYS make her laugh! It's so cute. When I learn how to put videos on here I'll post some of her spitting tricks and her laughter... it really is contagious!
Here are some photos of what we've been up to lately... Hailey and I went shopping with Caylor and his mommy, Sierra. She just happened to find the PERFECT swim wear for our children.. Don't they look great?
Hailey and her FREE necklace that she LOVES! We went to the Wine and Vine Festival that they have yearly here in Nicholasville. For $15 you can walk past the orange barricades and taste 9 wines of your choice! How fun! No, we didn't taste any, but we did walk around to all the booths and had a great time.. Everyone thought she was a BEAUTIFUL baby.. I totally agree:)
Every year we have a bird (usually a robin) make a nest and lay eggs.. This year she had FOUR babies and just last week they flew away.. I was really sad when they finally left.. I loved walking out the door and checking their nest everyday to see them grow.... just reminded me of what my time with Hailey is going to be like...
She is TOTALLY Bowman all the way. Her and Nate look so much alike it's crazy! I've been wanting to dress her up as a boy for a day and call her Henry... Wouldn't that be fun?
So, she is a little obsessed with grass! She loves it! She will be pulling on a blanket trying to get to the grass within seconds of putting her down.. Like the dress? $3.50 at Once Upon a Child.. I love that store!

Karen (my sister) and I went to Sam's one day and took Hailey and Ivy. Well, needless to say, since Ivy is a TAD bit BIGGER than Hailey, she gets to take things away from Hailey without any consequence...(not for long bully!!!jk)
Hailey is so empathetic! Ivy was crying because she was tired and wanted out, and since she was crying it made Hailey cry. She was totally faking it.. So funny!

Hailey loves to take a bath! She usually cries when I take her out of it, but she loves to play peek-a-boo with her towel! If she isn't the cutest octopus you've ever seen!!! I could just kiss this little miss all day long!


I just love Hailey! She brings so much joy into our lives! Nate is such a good daddy and she gets so excited when he walks in the door at the end of the day! She's growing up so fast and her new thing she does is scoots backwards and around in a circle. She has yet to crawl, or purposely roll over to get things.. She can do it, but she has to be in the mood for a quick change in scenery! We'll try to keep up with the posts... Hope everyone has a great week!

Can I just say that I LOVE this little girl? She makes me laugh and giggle and proud to be her mommy every single day! Today she had her 6th month check up... she is on the charts, thank you very much, and at 10% on everything! Maybe eating some solids will help her gain more fat:) We haven't tried any cereal yet, but we will this weekend.. Daddy wants to be home for that. Her new thing that we have been working VERY hard on is sitting up ALL by herself! She is doing AWESOME! I am so proud of her! She is such a fun, easy, lovable little baby girl!

Fun in the Sun!

This past week Nate, Hailey and I went to Arizona to visit with Nate's family. We had such a WONDERFUL visit! It always ends way too soon, but needless to say, we are glad to be home and back into our "routine". We flew out on Sunday and stayed in Mesa for a couple of days, then we went back to Sierra Vista and stayed there with his parents until Friday, when we then went back to Mesa. The weather was beautiful and HOT! It was Hailey's first time experiencing "heat" and she did great. She also did AWESOME on the plane. People commented that they didn't even know a baby was on board! While we were there though, she did get sick and ended up with ear infections and now is on an antibiotic.. but she's getting better everyday! At first she didn't like her medication, but now she takes it pretty well for me. You just have to do it slow and steady!

So, it's been a while since I've posted and so much has changed! Well, things with Nate and I are the same, but Hailey is getting bigger and more fun every day! Here are some updates on Little Miss-

She LOVES books. I mean LOVES books! She loves to cuddle, she's almost sitting up all by herself..(she can in grass, thanks auntie Meg!-I mean Mandy:))) She talks ALL the time, she love's her bouncy, she helps mommy in the kitchen in her bumbo seat, she loves animals, she's such a water baby and pretty much cries when you take her out. she's 6 months old! She's up-to-date on her shots... (so it's okay if she bites you!) She's already captured her daddy's heart... (he's on a VERY short leash! ) She loves to dance around, and listen to music. She thinks I'm amazing!:) She's getting really long hair on top of her head.. just need to work on the sides and the back... She's getting chunky legs:) She is SUCH a FLIRT! she'll smile and talk to just about anyone who tells her how pretty she is! ... She's just so darn cute! I love her so much and can't imagine my life without her!
